A melamine resin has been prepared with poly-formaldehyde to replace 37% liquid formaldehyde.which has stable quality and good perfor-mance.The formulation and production processwere described.The reaction mechanism, resinstructure features and effects of various factorson the resin properties were discussed.The spec-ifications of resin and paint were listed.
