习语是语言的精华 ,它具有丰富的民族色彩 ,反映本民族的文化特征。本文从分析中英文习语入手 ,阐释了中西方在宗教信仰、经济生活、风俗习惯以及娱乐活动等方面的文化差异。

Idioms are the cream of the language. They are, therefore, typical in reflecting its cultural characteristics and national colorings. From the perspective of idiom, this paper analyzes differences between Chinese culture and western culture in religion, economic life, customs and habits, and recreational activities.
