实在论的最后崩溃——从虚拟实在谈起

Collapse of Realism——From the Perspective of Virtual Reality

文章通过对虚拟实在的潜在可能性的讨论 ,对照自然实在 ,得出了三条反射对等律 :1.任何我们用来试图证明自然实在的物质性的理由 ,用来证明虚拟实在的物质性 ,具有同样的有效性或无效性 ;2 .任何我们用来试图证明虚拟实在中感知到的物体为虚幻的理由 ,用到自然实在中的物体上 ,照样成立或不成立 ;3 .任何在自然物理世界中我们为了生存和发展需要完成的任务 ,在虚拟实在世界中我们照样能够完成。由这三条对等律足以推出 ,以实体概念为核心的实在论是不成立的 ,而其他种类的实在论一开始就缺乏理论根基。实在论的崩溃不会导致认识上的相对主义 ,因为客观规律的有效性并不依赖于实体的存在。

Through the discussion of the potentiality of virtual reality in contrast to natural reality, the three laws of reciprocity have been established in this paper as follows: 1) whatever reason used to justify the materiality of the natural reality is equally valid or invalid when applied to virtual reality; 2) whatever reason used to justify the claim that objects in virtual reality are illusory is equally valid or invalid when applied to objects in natural reality; 3) whatever functions we can perform in natural reality for the sake of survival and prosperity can be equally or better performed in virtual reality. These three laws of reciprocity are incompatible with any kind of ontological realism, and thus lead to the final collapse of realism. But this does not support cognitive relativism, because the universality of laws of nature does not depend on the validity of realism.
