文章运用马克思主义基本原理、政治学和党建理论,对党的性质与先进生产力的关系进行了探讨,分析了政党与生产力的关系及其对生产力的作用,论述了中国共产党的性质与历史使命,提出了党要践行"代表中国先进生产力的发展要求",必须首先真正搞清楚的三个基本问题。

With the ultimate principles of Marxism, political science and Party building theory, this thesis inquires into the relationship between the nature of the political party and the advanced productive forces. It analyzes the relationship between Political Party and productive forces as well as the effect on the latter. It expounds the nature of the CPC and its historic mission, and puts forward three basic problems which our Party must make clear first and fully when practicing the important idea 'on behalf of the advanced productive forces' .
