Intel 8096/8098 is one of single chip computer s(?)ries of high performance. Most of applications in computer control now tend to adopting the distributed process. This paper introduces the desigh thought of a new type of on-line computer system composed of PC/286/386 and 8096/8098 computers. It also discusses its communication protocol and the design and implementation of this system's two states, the development state and the runnig state, in depth.
