摘要
作为“社会剖析派”的开创者,茅盾一直被称为“客观”写实的作者。实际上,《子夜》的作者具有强烈的主体意识,他不但极尽调遣控制人物之能事,还直接发表评论来表达自己的声音,同时运用一些技巧——例如隐喻、象征、预示等修辞来引导读者的思路。主观未必无益,但作者主观意图过于明显,就不免显得雕琢气息太浓。
As an initiator of the Social Analysis School, Maodun is called an objective realistic writer. Actually he has a strong subjective consciousness expressed in his controlling of his characters, his direct opinions of his voice and the use of rhetoric, such as metaphor, symbol and indication to guide the reader's thought. But his subjective consciousness is so strong that his work shows too much ornamentation.
