摘要
格状编码调制(TCM)可以在相同的频带利用率下 ,使信号得到2.55dB~7.37dB的编码增益 ,在数字通信中得到了广泛的应用。而目前对格状编码调制进行译码的有效手段是应用概率译码技术的维特比 (Viterbi)译码算法 ,可以充分地体现TCM的优点。因此以TCM_16QAM为例 ,在简要讨论Viterbi译码算法一般原理的基础上 ,介绍了软判决Viterbi译码算法的译码过程及其用DSP技术实现Viterbi译码算法的步骤和软件流程。
Trellis Coding Modulation (TCM) has been widely used in digital communication because it can obtain 2.55~7.37dB coding gain without bandwidth expansion or reduction of the effective information rates.Viterbi decoding algorithm using the probability technology is an effective method for the TCM decoding.It can fully embody the advantages of TCM.This paper studies the principles of Viterbi decoding algorithm ,introduces the procedures of soft<sub>d</sub>ecision Viterbi decoding algorithm and DSP algorithm ,taking the example of TCM<sub>1</sub>6QAM.
