Image Retrieval Based on Combined Color Features in MPEG-7

提出一种综合MPEG 7建议的主颜色和颜色布局的方法。给出了主颜色和颜色布局的提取方法,详细介绍了MPEG 7标准的颜色评价准则,并以此作为评判检索结果优劣的依据。综合利用两种特征对图像进行描述及检索,获得了比使用单一特征更好的检索效果。

In this paper, a method is proposed combining dominant color and color layout in MPEG-7. First, the method of extracting dominant color and color layout is given, and evaluation criterion used in MPEG-7 is introduced in detail and use it to evaluate the results. Retrieval results obtained from combined features are superior to that obtained from single feature.
