On the Concept and Founding of Contemporary Neo-Daoism

从语词定义与主要内涵方面 ,可以尝试界定新道家的概念 ;进而可以从辨伪学问题、文本阐释问题以及与新儒家的比较方面 ,探讨建立新道家的可能途径。阐扬新道家之学理与精神 ,营建新道家学派 ,是 2 1世纪承接民族文化、争取民族生存的一项重要工作。

We can define an appellation for Contemporary Neo-Daoism by its content and definition, and then discuss the feasibility to found a school of Contemporary Neo-Daoism by text criticism and text hermeneutics and contrast with Neo-Confucianism. This paper argues that it is an important task to promote our national culture in developing the knowledge and spirit of Contemporary Neo-Daoism and constructing a school of Contemporary New Daoism in the 21 Century.
