论新时期知识分子和精神文明建设的关系

On Relationship between Intellectual and Construction of Spiritual Civilization Building in New Era

作为社会主义建设的主力军,知识分子在新时期精神文明建设中有着不可替代的作用,但由于知识分子群体本身独立的社会立场的特点,造成精神文明建设问题的复杂性,本文从西方知识界对知识分子的理解和党对知识分子的政策两个角度,试图找到如何在社会转型中摆好知识分子与精神文明建设的关系。本文的结论是,知识分子在传承和发扬传统资源的文化工作中应该继续发挥积极的作用,同时,要充分理解和运用知识分子独立的社会立场,为社会风气的根本好转、精神文明建设的总体推进提供良好的激励作用。

As the main force in socialist construction, intellectuals play an indispensable role in the construction of spiritual civilization in the new era. However, the unattached social position of the intellectuals complicated the issue of spiritual civilization construction. By examining the understanding of the western intelligentsia about intellectuals and intellectual policy of the CCP, this paper attempts to establish a proper relationship between intellectuals and the construction of spiritual civilization during social transformation. The paper concludes that intellectuals should continue to play an active role in taking over and carrying forward the traditional culture. The unattached social position of the intellectuals should also be fully understood and taken advantage of so that social morality can really change for the better and the construction of spiritual civilization can be advanced.
