新世纪的中国经济思想史研究既要有研究方法、研究视角的拓新,也要有研究领域的平衡发展。由于种种原因,民国经济思想史成为中国经济思想史研究领域最薄弱的环节。大力加强民国经济思想史的研究不仅具有填补学术空白的理论意义,而且对中国当代市场经济体制的构建和具有中国特色的中国经济学理论的发展具有历史借鉴意义。目前首先要解决好民国经济思想史研究的分期、主线、内容及史料等问题。
