On the Relationship Between the Faulty Decision Made by America and Britain and the Japanese General Invasion of China

在日本全面发动侵华战争之前,由于英美对日本抱有不切实际的幻想,以及对苏联与中国革命的偏见和相互之间的猜忌,无视中国抗战的战略地位,英美对日本没有采取强硬的措施,未能组建远东集体安全体系,丧失了阻止日本法西斯发动全面侵华战争的时机。这是英美在战略上的短视和对形势的错误估价而做出错误的决断所导致的。

Britain and America had impractical illusion about Japan and had prejudice against Chinese and Russian revolution before the Japanese general invasion of China. Ignoring the strategic role China would play in the anti-Japanese war, they failed to take strong measures over Japan and set a group security system of Far East, thus missed the chance of preventing Japan from invading China generally. All these are caused by the America and Britain's strategic short, incorrect estimation of the situation and faulty decision.
