黑格尔根据艺术发展的三个阶段提出了艺术终结的理论,丹托承接这一观点提出了"我们已进入一个后历史的艺术时期,对艺术不断自我革命的需求现已消失"的观念,文章通过进一步对于现代艺术的观察和思考,提出了艺术只是进入迷茫期而并非消亡的观点。

Hegel put forward the theory the End of Art according to three stages of artistic development.Danto accepted and viewed 'we have entered the artistic period of history after one to ask, idea that the demand constantly self- revolutionary to art has already disappeared now', through putting forward this text to modern observation and thinking of art to enter vast and hazy one and view not withering away further.
