Faithfillness,Smoothness and Proprness——the Basis of Translation——Understanding Two Versions of Translation of Tess of the D'Urbervilles

本文在“信、达、切”的基础上分别从意义的忠实性 ,语言的流畅性 ,风格的再现三个方面对《苔丝》的两个译本进行了比较分析 ,指出了两个译本中的优缺点。

The paper compares with and analyzes the two versions of Tess of the D'Urbervilles from three aspects---faithfulness of meaning,smoothness of language,reproduction of style on the basis of “faithfulness,smoothness,properness”,and then points out the advantages and disadvantages of the versions.
