On the librarians' double role in the chain of information service under network environment

提出网络信息服务链的概念 ,指出图书馆在信息服务链中同时扮演信息传者和受者双重角色存在的问题 ,并提出解决这些问题的几点对策。

The paper advances a concept of information service chain, and points out the problems while libraries act both as an information provider and an information receiver in the information service chain. Some counter measures to these problems are also provided.
