中东在我国对外战略中具有特殊重要性 ,主要表现在 :1 中东是我国周边的战略延伸 ;2 中东石油关乎我国的能源安全 ;3 中东是我国商品和技术出口的潜在大市场 ;4 中东国家是我国和平发展所必须借重的政治资源。但双边关系仍存在一些问题 ,我国有必要从战略上重视发展与中东国家的关系 ,适当提升中东在我国对外战略中的地位 ,为现有关系注入新的内涵和活力。

The Middle East is of particular importance to China's foreign strategy, which can be demonstrated by the following aspects: the Middle East is a strategic extension of China's periphery; oil in the Middle East is of vital concern to China's energy security; the Middle East is a potential big market for Chinese commodity and technology exports; the Middle Eastern countries are such political resources that China must rely on for peaceful development. Therefore, it's necessary for China to pay strategic attentions to the development of its relations with the Middle Eastern countries, to properly upgrade the status of the Middle East in its foreign strategy and to pour new contents and vitality into the current bilateral relations.
