This paper describes the principle and configuration of latest type optical fiber sens-ing instrument for measuring the liquid level inside the large pressure container. In virtue of advancedoptical fiber sensing technique and novel innovation in traditional apparatus, the instrument has ex-cellent characteristics in precision, pressure insulation and fire prevention.
