A Simple Method of Determining Organic Cationic Polymers

本文依据钙蒙脱石吸附有机阳离子聚合物(COP)及亚甲基蓝(MBD)的吸附特性,用亚甲基蓝标准溶液作滴定剂测定钙蒙脱石的阳离子交换容量和溶液中 COP 的浓度,并且利用该方法测定了不同体系的有机阳离子聚合物钻井液中COP 的浓度.该方法操作方便,分析速度快,分析相对误差小于7%,特别适合现场测定有机阳离子聚合物钻井液中 COP 的浓度.

Based on the adsorption performance of organic cationic polymers and methylene blue dye on calcium montmorillionite,the cationic exchange capacity of calcium montmorillionite and concentra- tion of organic cationic polymers are determined by using the standard solution of methylene blue dye as titrant. The concentration of organic cationic polymers in different organic cationic polymer drilling fluids is determined by this method.This method is easy in operation and especially suitable for determining the concentration of organic cationic polymers in the drilling fluids with organic cationic polymers.
