On the Modernization of Man's Moral Quality and Modern Education in Ethics

人的道德素质现代化以及主体性道德教育是当代道德教育的主旋律。人的道德素质现代化不仅指人的道德观念的现代化 ,而且指道德行为的现代化。现代德育应以促进人的道德素质现代化为中心 ,即把人作为现代道德主体来培养 ,以满足主体自身德性发展和完善的需要。它体现了现代德育的本体功能和内在价值 ,是现代德育的本质规定。人的道德素质现代化 ,是现代社会发展对人才素质的根本要求。要实现人的道德素质现代化 ,必须使学校德育现代化。为此 ,现代德育的构建应注重德育目标的主体性 ,德育内容的现代性 。

The modernization of man's moral quality indicates that of man's moral concepts as well as moral behaviors. Modern Education in ethics should facilitate the modernization of man's moral quality, that means fostering people as the subject of modern morality. To realize the modernization of man's moral quality, school education in ethics must be modernized. For this reason we should pay attention to the subject quality of moral educational objects, the modernization of modern educational contents and the open nature of moral educational method.
