According to the development of forestry in Sichuan,an analysis was made of the economic operation and statistical work situation of forestry in Sichuan,pointing out the characteristics of forestry economic operation.At last,some views were advanced on expanding the contents of statistical work and strengthening its functions of decision making and consulting services.
