摘要
无线局域网是计算机网络与无线通信技术相结合的产物,不需要铺设双绞线、同轴电缆或光纤等线 缆,而是利用射频无线电或红外线,借助直接序列扩频(DSSS)或跳频扩频(FHSS)等技术,甚至是将来的 超宽带传输技术(UWBT),实现固定、半移动及移动的网络终端对INTERNET进行较远距离的高速连接访 问。因为无须支出布线方面的花费,所以节约了很大一部分LAN的安装和维护的费用,比有线LAN更具有 明显的优势。
The Wireless LAN is the result of combining the computer network with the wireless communication technology. No twisted pair, coaxial cables or optical fibers are needed but only using RF wireless or infrared ray. It relies on the technology of DSSS, FHSS GMSK OFMA or even the future coming UWBT to realize the telecommunication access between the terminal of REGULAR SEMI MOBILE and INTERNET. Because there is no need of laying cables, much money has been saved. The installment and maintenance fees for some of LAN are quite favorable than that of wire LAN.
