AN APPROACH TO THE EXPLOITATION OF WINTER SHOOTS OF PHYLLOSTACHYS PUBESCENS IN ANJI COUNTY

The management of winter shoots of Phyllostachys pubescens in Anji County was in- vestigated.It was belived that the regulation of digging forbidden and the low level of cul- tivation technology were the major reasons which decreased the production of winter shoots.The exploitation of winter shoots is not only possible but also unavoidable.It was suggested that the administrative management should be ajusted together with the im- provement of the cultivation technology of bamboo forests.The digging and cultivating methods of winter shoots should be extended and the productivity of bamboo forests should be developed.
