The instrument developed by the authoc for wave demonstration is introduced. The instrument can simulate the movement of water particles by the digital techniques and picturesquely demonstrate the wave formation on XOZ section of the ocean as well as the wave propogation in horizontal and vertical directions. The applications of RISC technique and non-programming-storage architecture in the instrument are also discussea.
