This current transformer using organic insulation instead of oil porcelain insulation is a new type high tension apparatus featuring unique configurations,advanced characteristic indexes and different with traditional oil-filled and SF_6 gas insulated current transformers.This paper introduces the research,specific structure,application and prospects of the new dry type (LRGBJ) high tension current transformer.
