This paper mainly discusses the research and application of embedded system base on Linux.Firstly a summarization about embedded system is given,then the paper brings forward a plan that develop device driver for touch screen base on an embedded Linux operating system. And the design of its device driver and applications for Linux embedded operating system is introduced in detail.
