In academic Circle,litte researth has been done into the rational thinking of Liu Yuxi's poems which can be classified into three types:rational thinking on society,history and his own life.The rational thinking on society and history's results from especially his attention to the reality of the society.The rational thinking on his own life combines his individual value of the poet with the social value at his time.The rational thinking of Liu Yuxi's poems has also its unique aesthetic value which has a great effect on aftertime poem writing.
