Along with the development of the EDA technique, FPGAs are applied more widely in the fields of research and engineering. FPGAs are high-density, feature-rich devices that can deliver the flexibility and high-performance SOPC(system-on-a-programmable-chip) integration solution for the design of complex logic circuit. This paper analyzed the constitute principle of GPR(Ground Penetrating Radar)/PC communication system and all familiar projects in brief, then brings forward the EPP mode based on the characteristic of the operation and data transmission in our GPR system. The hardware module based on FPGA(field programmable gate array) Cyclone is realized and the application program is designed and compiled according to WDM system too.
