Budapest School, which appeared in the 1960s as one of Eastern European Marxist schools, advances the claims of radical aesthetics, or rather, reconstructing aesthetics. That means that reconstruction presupposes deconstruction and that deconstruction requires a return to things' genesis. This article takes Ferenc Fehér and Agnes Heller's essay ″The Necessity and Irreformability of Aesthetics″as an object of study. It firstly discusses their analysis of the necessity of origin of aesthetics as a discipline, then interprets their deconstruction of modern aesthetics. Finally, it makes an evaluation of their reconstructing aesthetics, pointing out its significance to contemporary studies of aesthetics.
