摘要
在许多国人眼里 ,印度依然贫穷落后。尽管近年来印度经济增长速度有所加快 ,然而大多数认为印度经济要超过中国是不可能的事。作者认为印度经济不仅正在崛起 ,而且具有赶超中国的潜力。只要印度注意充分发挥这些潜力 ,并认真克服经济发展中存在的诸多问题 ,印度经济增长速度就有可能赶上甚至超过中国 ,并在 2 1世纪成为世界经济大国。
India’s persistent trend of economic growth has raised a meaningful question: Can India catch up with or even surpass China in terms of economic performance and comprehensive national capability? According to the author, Indian economy is not just emerging rapidly, but also showing its impressive potentials to overtake China, provided that India could make a reasonable use of several advantages and overcome some haunted problems. It also offers a promising chance for India to be a global economy in the 21st century.
