In this paper, experience and lessons are sumed up about the operation and maintenance of Low-liquid type valve-control lead acid battery in the local substations of Changzhi area. on this basis, the fundamental of this type of batteries is analyzed and demonstrated according to D.C charging equipments and other circumstance factors, Some important problems have been brought forward which should be noticed during the operation of these batteries.
