“Experience” and Modernistic Poetics

本文拾取现代主义诗学的关键词“经验”作为研究对象,通过对其与现代诗学关系的历时性描述,进而从词源学和哲学视角对其内在结构特点作出深入细致的探讨,认定作为现代主义诗学的“经验”应是感性与理性的合金。文章最后揭示出经验诗学之所以在 20世纪 40年代和 90年代引起诗界重视的历史与现实背景。

This paper takes “experience”, a key word of the modernistic poetics, as its target of research. By a diachronic description of the relationship between experience and modernistic poetics, and a meticulous probe into the inner structure and features of experience from the perspectives of etymology and philosophy, it argues that the “experience” of modernistic poetics is the alloy of perceptual and rational factors. It finally reveals the historical and realistic background for the importance attached to empirical poetics in the 1940s and 1990s.
