Development of A New Wax Gourd F1 Hybrid 'Heiguan'

一代杂种黑冠冬瓜,其母本为从华南地方品种中选出的黑皮自交系N63,父本是从四川大型黑皮农家品种与湖南青皮品种杂交后代中选出的优良墨绿色自交系N26。中熟,皮色黑,瓜形匀直,耐贮藏运输。瓜长约55cm,瓜径约20cm,肉厚5～6cm,单瓜重约15kg,一般露地栽培每667m2产量6000～10000kg。

Heiguan is a new wax gourd F1 hybrid by crossing self-line N63 with self-line N26. The variety is medium-term, black pericarp, shape of fruit is uniform and right , tolerant to storage and transport. The inidividual fruit is about 55 cm length and about 20 cm diameter and 5-6 cm thickness with a weight of about 15 kg. It commonly yields 90-150 t/hm2. It has been popularized and planted in the Changjiang valley and other vegetable production area of Southwest and Southern of China.
