HPLC was used to determine the active ingredient content of 1% M18, using a gradient mobile phase and wavelength detection at 250 nm. Peak area correlated linearly with sample input in the range of 50 to 1000 mg/L. The correlation coefficient was 0.9997. Recovery typically ranged from 98.5 to 101.3% with a coefficient of variation of 1.66%.
