明清浙东学派的治学思想和方法浅谈

An Analysis on Learning Thoughts and Approaches of East Zhejiang School during Ming and Qing Dynasties

浙东学派继承并发扬了中国史学“经世致用”的优良传统,并发扬光大。浙东学派的代表人物,都是爱国爱乡、具有崇高的民族气节和高尚的品格的人物。浙东学派治学的目的不是为学术而学术,而是学以致用,为现实服务。浙东学派在治学的态度和方法上,一方面强调博通,注意打好基础;另一方面,又善于创新,无门户之见。

East Zhejiang School inherited and carried forward the fine Chinese historical tradition: Apply learning to practical problems. The representatives were the figures who loved motherland and hometown and possessed high moral characters. The aim of this school was not set to study for study but apply the learning to practical problems. Concerning the scholar thoughts and approaches, the School emphasized to be creative and to obtain broad knowledge with solid foundation.
