Domestic and foreign market about methanol and its further products

近年来,不发达国家因其廉价的石油、天然气促进了甲醇工业的发展。目前世界甲醇生产能力达2000万t/a以上。引起世界甲醇紧俏的主要原因是甲醇燃料、甲醇掺烧汽油及汽油添加剂MTBE的迅速增长。国内甲醇化工虽有发展,但产量仅有60～70万t/a,还远不能满足甲醇及其下游产品的需要。还对发展国内甲醇工业提出了建议。

The methanol industry of the undeveloped countries has advanced in recent years as a result of low price of petroleum and nature gas. Methanol production capacity of the world is over 20 million tons currently. That mcthanol is in great demand results mainly from increase in production of methanol fuel,mixture of methanol and gasoline additive MTBE. Methanol industry in China has been developed with the production capacity of 0.6～0.7 million tons,but this is far from the need for methanol and its further products. Suggestions are made on developing the methanol industry in China.
