Oxidation Behavior of a Powder Metallurgy Cu-44%Cr-12%Fe (wt%) Alloy at 900℃ under Different Oxygen Pressures

摘要 研究了粉末冶金三元双相 Cu-44%Cr-12%Fe(质量分数)合金在 900℃不同氧分压下的氧化行为,用光学显微镜、XRD,SEM/EDX 观察和分析试样氧化膜的表面、截面形貌和组成。结果表明:合金中 44%的 Cr 含量在 0.1 MPa 纯氧中并不能使合金表面形成连续致密的 Cr2O3膜。合金的氧化速度随氧分压的降低而降低,原因是低氧分压有助于抑制合金中 Cr 的内氧化并形成连续致密的外 Cr2O3膜。最后讨论了氧化膜的形成机制。 The oxidation behavior of a two-phase ternary Cu-44wt%Cr-12wt%Fe alloy prepared by powder metallurgy (PM) has been studied at 900℃ under three different oxygen pressures. The surface, the cross sectional morphology and the composition & the oxidation film were observed and discussed by optical microscope, XRD, SEM/EDX. The results show that the surface of alloy with 44wt%Cr content in the alloy cannot produce a continuous chromia scale under 0.1 MPa oxygen, and a reduction of the oxidation rates with lowered oxygen pressures is attributed to the formation of a continuous and compacted outer chromia scale. Finally the oxidation formation mechanism under different oxygen pressure is discussed.
