摘要
ABCG2是ABC转运体家族的成员 ,由于ABCG2基因在某些癌细胞质膜上高表达 ,从而导致癌细胞将抗癌药物泵出细胞外而产生抗药性。通过进一步研究发现 ,人ABCG2的 4 82位上的氨基酸残基对底物的特异选择很重要 ,在对癌症患者治疗的时候选择不同的药物或者选择性加入针对不同ABCG2突变体的拮抗剂可能会起到更好的疗效。ABCG2在侧群细胞上的专一表达提示其可能成为成体多能干细胞阳性筛选的潜在标志物。
ABCG2 is a member of the ABC transport superfamily. Due to its abundant expression on the membrane of some carcinoma cells and transport of some anti-cancer drugs, it renders the cells multi-drug resistance potential. Further research revealed that amino acid residue 428 of ABCG2 is important for the specificity of its substrate. Additional use of antagonist to ABCG2 may facilitate cancer therapy. Specific expression of ABCG2 on primitive stem cells suggests that it may be used as a positive marker for stem cell screening.
