摘要 美国是较早重视开展环境教育的国家,近年来,在促进基础教育质量的进程中,环境教育本身被视为一种重要策略,“以环境为学习的整合背景”模式(EIC模式)应运而生。这一集跨学科教学、学生中心、问题解决等特征为一体的EIC模式可以有效激发学习的动机,提高学生的学业成绩,同时塑造学生的综合环境素养,并有利于终身学习能力的养成。对美国EIC模式的特征及实践成效的描述和分析,将会对我国基础教育课程改革及环境教育的发展有所启示。
