摘要
晚年(60岁以后)朱熹以道心为道体,强调"道皆吾心固有,非在外之物",主张"此心虚明,万理具足,外面理会得者,即里面本来有底,只要自大本而推之达道耳"。可以认定,朱熹晚年走的是孟子心学的理路,思想的基本倾向是心学而非今人所谓"理学"。
In his late years Zhu Xi believes that the Taoist heart is superior to physical Tao, insisting that 'Tao is inherent in one's heart rather than is derived from the external environment', and that 'if one's heart is purified and enlightened, he has attained Tao; in appearance one has attained Tao by means of understanding the external, but virtually Tao is inherent within the heart.' From this we can infer that Zhu Xi adopted the principles of Mencius, and his thoughts are closer to 'xinxue' rather than what is called 'lixue'.
