Completely new concept of submarine imaging system is developed. Modern submarine taking imaging information from the outside of the submarine will not be limited in submarine periscopes and optronic masts, but is provided through several imaging sensors including airborne imaging sensors, above-the-water imaging sensors and underwater imaging sensors with a 3-D method which can afford off-board imaging information to the submarine commander in real time. With the submarine imaging system providing all directional information, this greatly improves the submarine operational capability and also increases the submarine stealth characteristics. Submarine imaging system consists of eight imaging subsystems. The art of the state of eight imaging subsystems is briefly analyzed.
