浅谈地理学与可持续发展的关系

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CEOGRAPHY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

可持续发展思想从各方面为地理学的发展带来了极大的影响,同时也为新世纪地理学的发展注入了强大的推动力。在简单对可持续发展理论综述的基础上,指出可持续发展的研究有助地理学克服“地理学危机”、加强学科综合、推动学科研究、拓宽应用领域并促进地理学研究方法和技术的更新;同时,地理学也在可持续发展研究中发挥了巨大作用,表现在地理学成为可持续发展的理论基础以及实施可持续发展战略的支柱学科,地理学增强了可持续发展理论的应用性并普及了其思想。

There were rich connotations and broad extension in the theory of sustainable development. It had its strongly effect on every subjects, as well as the science of geography. The theory of sustainable development worked on it in each aspect, such as passing the 'crisis of geography', the integration of geography, the exploitation of the application of geography, the renovation of the study meanings and technology. In the meanwhile, geography which dealt with relationships between the geographical environments of human activities must be the core of the sustainable development; it contributed to the theory of sustainable development from many fields, buildup the practicability of the theory, and popularized its thought.
