摘要
随着中国经济的持续性发展及对外交流的深入,社会对大学生的实际语言运用能力提出了更高的要求。然而,面对四六级考试通过率的压力,高校往往仍然进行着应试教学而忽视对学生语用能力的培养。为此,特对所在学校03级非英语专业三个不同专业的班级进行语用能力调查,结果表明语用能力低于其语言能力,语用能力与语言能力不完全成正比。针对这一现状,文章提出文化教学将是提高学生语用能力的可行性途径,并探讨了文化教学的原则、方法和内容。
With the further development of China's economy and its cross-cultural communication, the empolyment market has a higher demand for the graduates' practical ability of using the language. However, faced with the pressure of the passing rate of CET-4 and CET-6, many colleges and universities are still focusing their attention to the examination-oriented teaching rather than the training of students' practical ability of using the language. Therefore, we made an investigation of the practical ability of using the language in the non-English majors '03 from three different specialties in Zhejaing Ocean University. The result shows that the students' practical ability of using the language is lower than language competence and not totally in positive ratio with the language competence. In light of this status quo, this paper argues that cultural teaching is a feasible way to improve the students' practical ability of using the language. Besides, we have also discussed the principles, approaches and content of cultural teaching in this paper.
