Effect of Trace Element Pb on Graphite Morphology in Vermicular Graphite Cast Iron

研究了微量元素铅对铸铁石墨形貌的影响。指出铅能提高蠕化起点的残余镁量,扩大蠕化范围。这是铅扩大球墨畸变区所致。加铅量即使低达0.0020％,石墨形貌就会发生明显变化。

In this paper the effect of trace element Pb on the graphite morphology in cast iron isstudied. It shows that Pb rises the minimum value of residual Mg content for obtaining vermicular graphite and extends the range of graphite vermiculating as result of expanding the zone of abnormal nodular greph-ite. The graphite morphology will be remarkably changed even if the lead addition is as small as 0.0020%.
