The polyurethane prepolymer clear coatings based on PAPI and castor oil was prepared. It is a sort of moisture curable one-component polyurethane coatings, which has protection function. The influence factors in the synthesis of the prepolymer are discussed. A serial coatings based on above prepolymer were developed, and some of their applications are introduced. The coatings can meet the environmental protection demand. The application effects of the coatings are good.
