The developments and progresses of wave absorbing materials were reviewed. It was pointed out that researches on wave absorbing materials not only are important to military industry but also can promote the civil electronic industry in devloping anti-interference devices. Currently, the application wave absorbing materials has been industrialized. It has found an increasing wide utlization with a huge potential market.
