王蒙先生中短篇小说中的梦、夜意象都与他的人生际遇有关,它们是:1957年反右派斗争扩大化、十年文化浩劫、身心获得解放的新时期。这两类意象宣达的作家主观情绪是于悲凉中寓喜悦、于颓丧中寓奋进、于惆怅中寓急切、于幻灭中寓期待。
The ideals of dream and night all have relation with his life chance in the midium and short stories written by Mr. Wang. they are: the extension of anti - right - wing conflict of 1957 ,10 - year cultural calamity, new period of liberation of the mind and body .The writer's subjective motion that these novels inform contains joy in desolation,courage in decadence,anxiety in disappointment, expectation in failure.
