ESP: SVM RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENT BASED ON OS/2

共享虚拟存储技术可以将松耦合系统中相互独立的物理存储空间组织成一个统一的逻辑存储空间。我们基于OS/2对共享虚拟存储系统ESP的硬软件结构、算法和性能等进行了研究和实验,初步结论是理论分析与实测结果基本一致,这种技术在多机系统、分布式计算机以及并行处理中是有用的。

A shared virtual memory technology can organize the mutual independent physical memory in a loose coupled system into one and only one logical memory space. We make research and experiment on the hardware & software structure, algorithm & performance etc. of the shared virtual memory system ESP based on OS/2. The preliminary result is that the difference between theoryanalysis and experiment is small, this technology is useful in multicomputer, distributed computer & parallel processing.
