This paper introduced to the Los Angeles Art Center College of Design. It expounded the social, economical and cultural background, and factual significance of Modernism. The difference between Modernism in fine arts and in design, and, the tendency of reviving Modernism were pointed out. It predicted that participating democracy will influence the architectural style and progress next century.
