Study on the Development of China's Tourism Geography from the Viewpoint of Analysis of Papers and Documents in Two Kinds of Journals:Research on Papers of Tourism Geography Published in Ten Geographical Journals from 1994 to 2003

通过搜集1994—2003年《地理学报》、《地理研究》等10种期刊发表的旅游地理文献,将10种期刊分为两大类,从文章的数量、基金资助、研究涉及区域、研究方法和研究内容等方面进行统计分析,揭示了中国旅游地理10a来的研究进展状况和特点。

This paper reveals the present situation and characteristics of tourism geography,based on the statistical analysis on the articles of tourism geography published in two kinds of journals in the past ten years.From the aspects of amount of papers published,foundation,research content,research region,and research method,the paper analyzes the differences between them and their own characteristics in detail.It is concluded that:1)With the development of tourism,documents on tourism geography contribute to the domestic tourism development since their number increase rapidly;2)The National Natural Science Foundation becomes the main financial source of tourism geography science;3)The study areas of tourism geography papers cover all the country;4)Natural science methodology are applied gradually in the research of tourism geography.
