摘要 本文首先简要介绍了世界留学生的总体情况,对发展中国家学生出国留学的原因与动机进行了分析。然后,作者探讨了9·11事件对发展中国家留学生输出情况的影响,以及欧盟在实施"博洛尼亚计划"后,其内部留学生流动出现的变化。接下来作者介绍了美国学生到别国接受高等教育的情况。最后,作者介绍了"新跨国主义"--学术机构的跨国流动,并分析了服务贸易总协定(GATS)的实施可能对世界高等教育市场产生的影响。 This paper first introduces the general condition of world international students and analyzes the reasons and motivations that drive students of developing countries away from home. Then it discusses the impacts of 9 · 11 on international student flow and the changes in the EU brought about by the 'Bologna initiatives'. Next, the author addresses the issue of American studying abroad. Finally, the author introduces the 'new transnationalism' and the impacts on the international higher education market.
